I want to instal a 3rd monitor on my PC.

My idea has been to use my existing VGA and DVI connections on my desktop as an extended desktop but use my HDMI output for my 3rd screen. I'll send it through my cat6 ports and cables to my bedroom TV.

I want that screen to mirror one of my desktop screens so I can see what I'm doing and play video etc from my desktop then go watch it in my bedroom.

If this can't be done, can I see my 3rd screen somehow or with some app on screens 1 or 2?

Solution
Well a game should only full screen on a single monitor (I believe your primary), so you could have other programs open on the second screen as well. You can't mirror and extend your displays it has to be one or the other, but you can buy a port mirror and duplicate the output to multiple screens. Something like this Link Removed
