scince daemon tools/alcohol STILL dont work and magicISo still bugs your PC to a point of no return i went to look for a good working one. i finally found a bugless one that works flawlessly on windows 7. its called VirtualDrive pro 11

VirtualDrive - CD/DVD emulation DVD jukebox/tower emulator, RAM disk, and hard disk emulation

    screenshots of me using it.

u can clearly see form the 2 screenshts i mounted TMSUNRISe (trackmania sunrise a game) succesfully. i can easily open it and play. worked for alot of things for me and not once did i see any bugs/changes to my OS after installing this. everything is running perfect and if you want a virtual drive i suggest you use this ^^.

I don't know about magiciso, but for mounting images you only need the free magicdisc. I've not had any problems with it, on 64 bit builds 7000 or 7057. Mounted plenty with it.

PowerISO is the next best thing to Daemon and Alcohol and it works fine on Win7.

Virtual Clone Drive is much better and simpler solution in my experience. The number of virtual drives you can run is up to 15. And the most important part it works without any glitches or bugs.
