It appears that the abc player won't work on either internet explorer or firefox. Anyone know of a workaround for this?

To address issues with the ABC player not working on Internet Explorer or Firefox, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Update Browsers: Ensure that your Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers are updated to the latest versions. Outdated browsers can sometimes have compatibility issues with certain website features.

2. Clear Browser Cache: Clear the cache, cookies, and temporary internet files in both browsers. Sometimes, stored data can cause conflicts with website functionality.

3. Check Browser Add-ons: Disable any browser extensions or add-ons that might be interfering with the ABC player. Restart the browser and try accessing the player again.

4. Flash Plugin: Ensure that Adobe Flash Player is installed and up to date on your system. The ABC player might rely on Flash for video playback.

5. Security Software: Temporarily disable any security software like antivirus or firewall to see if they are blocking the player from loading.

6. HTML5 Compatibility: Some media players have switched to HTML5 for playback. Ensure your browsers support HTML5 video playback without any issues.

7. Alternative Browser: If the issue persists, try accessing the ABC player on a different browser like Chrome or Edge to see if it works there.

8. ABC Support: Check the ABC website for any specific support or troubleshooting guides related to their media player. They might have instructions tailored to their service and any known issues.

By following these suggestions, you can potentially resolve issues with the ABC player not functioning correctly on your browsers.
