Acronis True Image 2009

    Does anyone know if Acronis True Image 2009 works with Windows 7 ?

    Absolutely... I love it ! Incredible program. There is a free version on the WD website that works if at least one of your hard drives is a WD or Segate. If you cant find it, check my blogs.

    ATI 11 works OK - that is the free Diskwizard/Maxblast 5 download from Seagate. You need a Seagate or Maxtor drive. WD also have it on their site - you need a WD drive for that.

    It certainly wouldn't be my first choice - even among free apps.

    If you want a free version that works with any drive - smaller, faster and less cpu intensive than the above - try Macrium Reflect Free. - see if that does it for you. It's only 27mb.

    It also allows mounting to restore individual files and folders - and , uniquely among freebies - scheduling.

    If you are looking for a paid app - consider the paid version of Macrium of course.

    I am currently testing Paragon Drive Backup 10 - not released yet - astonishing range of functions and features - definitely look at it if you seeking a paid app:
