Hello, I just installed an All-in-one USB 2.0 Card reader.. But after booting up the computer, it shows up to be an unknown device... I think it's driver related.. I lost the CD though... Does anyone know how to fix this?

This picture below looks exactly like it..

The site says it has a product number of Y19-FB2-3CR-001..

Help me please..

Solution
Make sure you have a memory device in the reader. Some readers behave simply as a USB hub (like an extension cord) and will not register with Windows until an actual memory device is inserted in the reader and seen by the system.
I just found out that it doesnt support win 7.. Only 98,2000, and XP... Is there a way that I can make it work in win 7?

Does it work? When you insert an SD card does the light come on? Mine shows up in device manager in windows 7 and 8 as generic USB device. It's just an old cheapo that I've had since Vista.

Solution
May be driver was not supporting! Try to Google & find the software compatible to your motherboard.
