Windows 7 All Shortcuts show Spider Solitaire image

I am running Windows 7 Professional. All the shortcuts (on desktop, on start menu & on taskbar) are showing a spider solitaire image; when clicked upon spider solitaire starts up. However, when I click on properties for a shortcut the correct target address shows (i.e. not the address for spider solitaire but for the intended target of the shortcut). Any and all help to understand and fix this situation will be gratefully received!

Sounds like something is intercepting your links. Which anti-virus utilities have you tried?

Have you tried deleting and redoing any of the shortcuts to see what happens?
