Exciting news for Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel---Microsoft has just released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22621.1245 and Build 22623.1245 (KB5022358), packed with new features and significant improvements. ## Builds Overview:

- Build 22623.1245: New features rolling out.

- Build 22621.1245: New features off by default.



### Key Reminders:

- Automatic Update: Insiders on Build 22622 will automatically be moved to Build 22623 via an enablement package. This setup is exclusive to the Beta Channel.



### Screen Recording in Snipping Tool:

Screen recording is now available in the Snipping Tool for Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel (version 11.2212.24.0). This update also includes:

- The ability to pause recordings.

- Enhanced performance and reliability.

### Taskbar & System Tray:

- Fixed a frequent ShellExperienceHost crash when interacting with Quick Settings.



### Task Manager:

- Resolved several issues leading to Task Manager crashes.

- No longer need to widen Task Manager extensively to see the navigation pane.

- Improved search box alignment when text scaling is increased.

- Addressed text cut-off issues in dialogs due to increased text scaling.

- Windows Server 2022: Addressed LDAP request processing issues causing domain controllers to stop responding.

- Group Policy for Expanded Toasts: Fixed related issues.

- IME Issues: Applications freezing when using mouse and keyboard simultaneously while IME is active have been resolved.

- conhost.exe: Resolved non-responsive state.

- Exploit Protection: Fixed conflicts causing some applications like Microsoft Office and Adobe Reader not to respond.

- File Search: Issues searching files based on content have been fixed.

- searchindexer.exe: Fixed sign-in and sign-out issues.

- Japanese Kanji Issues: Resolved cursor misplacement issues in MBCS apps.

- Windows Diagnostic Data: Adjusted configurations for EU Data Boundary compliance.

- mstsc.exe: Resolved freezing when connecting to RemoteApp and Desktop Connection.

- FindWindow() / FindWindowEx(): Returned window handle issues have been fixed.

- Taskbar Search: Addressed problems with opening pictures from search.
