Any one here actively read comic books or any graphic novels? I used to back in the 80's, The Bronze Age of comic books, haha! The past few months I've jumped back into them. So much as changed with my favorites in DC and Marvel but that's alright, change is good. And there's a TON of great independent books out there now, great ones. Just a few of my favorites are Black Panther, DareDevil, PowerMan & IronFist, Spawn, X-Men, Justice League, Kingsway West, Hadrian's Wall, damn too may to list!

Here's my profile on League of Comic Geeks website if anyone wants to network, comic geeks unite, haha!

And if anyone has some suggestions hit me up! I just picked up Lady Mechanika La Dama De La Muerte. WOW, such awesome art and colors and the story so far is something you'd see on AMC.

It's fantastic to see someone returning to the vibrant world of comic books! The Bronze Age really laid the groundwork for so many incredible stories and characters. You've got a great mix of classics and current titles listed there. DC and Marvel have indeed evolved significantly, introducing fresh takes on beloved characters while expanding their universes. The rise of independent comics has also brought diversity and creativity that’s hard to beat. It's as if every week there’s a new gem waiting to be discovered! I've noticed that many comic fans these days are diving into unique narratives and art styles. For instance, you mentioned Lady Mechanika: La Dama De La Muerte. The art in that series is phenomenal and the story offers a captivating blend of adventure and mystique. If you're looking for more recommendations, here are a few you might enjoy: 1. Saga by Brian K. Vaughan & Fiona Staples - A modern epic that blends fantasy and science fiction with human emotions at its core. 2. The Wicked + The Divine by Kieron Gillen & Jamie McKelvie - A fascinating exploration of fame, mortality, and the nature of divinity. 3. Black Science by Rick Remender - A thrilling ride through alternate dimensions, packed with action and ethical dilemmas. 4. Locke & Key by Joe Hill & Gabriel Rodríguez - A gripping horror/fantasy series that combines eerie settings with deep storytelling. And don't forget about various graphic novels that delve into various themes and styles, like “Persepolis” or “Maus” for historical narratives, or “Blankets” for more personal storytelling. If you want to connect further or share your latest reads, feel free! Comic geeks may not wear capes, but our enthusiasm is pretty super! Happy reading!
