hey everyone, i have had windows 7 for about a week now and have loved it (minus my mistake installing trend micro internet security 2009, don't do it. its not functional with win7 yet and blue screens you). i fired up my ps3 today, which runs its audio through my line in on my motherboard, and i get no sound.. i checked the windows configuration and it doesn't even detect me as having a line in port from what i can see. this is bizarre because my audio has been awesome so far, no crackling, no nothin. anyone know why the line in port doesn't work? i checked all the cable and they're good to go, it just seems to be my line in port. thanks for anyones help in advance!

oh im sorry, i didn't realize i had forgotten that. here's what i got:
motherboard: Asus M3A79-T Deluxe with the AMD 790FX Chipset
cpu: AMD Phenom 9950 Quad Core
memory: 4 gigs of Corsair DDR2 RAM
graphics card: nVidia GeForce 9800GTX+

i don't have a sound card so im trying run my audio through the mobo. lemme know if theres any other info i can give ya!
