I would like to reduce the speed of my 1Gbps network card but cannot change auto negotiation.
There are no speed & duplex options other than "auto negotiation."
How can I enable the normal options in the "speed & duplex" field?

Hello and welcome to the forums.
Features and functions supported by a particular hardware device are most often a product of the software driver for the device, so....
Determine the Manufacturer, Model Name, Model Number, Revision Number of your network adapter and use the manufacturer's website to obtain the latest driver for your ethernet card and see if that adds a more robust feature set which will support changing the link speed and duplex as you wish.
Thanks for joining our community and keep us posted.

OS: windows 7 pro 64bit
motherboard: asus P8H67M-LE
NIC: Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller Properties

As I said before you need the proper driver for your card. Go to RealTek and get it. I have the same card and am able to make the changes you are talking about.
See attachment.
