Windows 7 Auto Start Programs

OK, I give up and now am asking the Gurus
How do I get a program to automatically start when I start Win7?

what sort of program? you could just put a shortcut in the "startup" under "my programs" in the start menu

Uhhh, I had a brain cramp. I entered it in the Registry and everything is working well.
