Windows 7 Battery meter is missing

Its gone, even in the notification area options. What do i do?

Right click the small white triangle by the notification area and select Properties. Make sure you have the power "ON"

Dont see anything like that, but then again its never been very useful even when it was showing, always giving me inaccurate power levels. Can anyone recommend a 3rd party battery meter?
