Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this. I use my Win 7 pc for recording using Cubase 6.5 and orchestral samples(all midi). I've been using a program called Vienna Ensemble Pro 5(VEP5)
and loading it with samples using East West Quantum Leaps samples using the PLAY 3 engine.
the app VEP5 started crashing with the error:
>Problem signature:

I've contacted the tech support for the VEP5 program and they say it's the PLAY3 GUI that's causing it. The makers of PLAY are unresponsive.
I've see things online about adding the program in DEP,I'm a little hesitant to mess with it. I've taken the PC offline, fully scanned for virus and removed all antivirus and turned off Windows Defender, which seemed
to fix the crashes until the other day,now they're back. Still offline.
The weird thing is originally when I installed VEP5 it was a trial version and it worked fine. When I bought it
nothing changes in the program but i changed my antivirus from Avira Premium to MSE and did the whatever windows updates were available that day.
Can't go back to a restore point because I didn;t set it up properly and my restore points only go back 3 weeks(it's been over a month).
here's my system specs
>7 3820 3.6ghz ,Asrock x79 Extreme6,32G G-skill Ares Series DDR3 1600 RAM,Corsair H80 cooler, Corsair Force Series 3 240G SSD,OCZ Vertex 120G SSD,Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200 HD,EVGA GTX 460 GPU, Corsair TX 750 PSU
thanks,
