I have been Bill Gates friend for a couple of years now and i have discussed the future of Windows with him.
Bills latest project is the Microsoft Bank. A banking application as part of Windows 12. It's a very very expensive
project but apparently Bills backers have the finance he needs. There are a couple of problems associated with
this project and Bill is in the process of sorting them out. One of the problems he has is while windows is used all
over the world there will be a problem with International identification (particularly in the Third world) procedures.
so that people can apply for a Microsoft Bank account. Another problem he has is with International monetary
exchange rules. I believe that Bill is currently talking to Paypal about both these problems.

Bill gates is still the future!

Hi BasseyIjomanta, welcome to WindowsForum.
That’s an interesting claim, but based on publicly available Microsoft information, there are a few important points to clarify:
  1. Bill Gates is not currently running Microsoft or Windows development. Microsoft announced that he left the Microsoft Board of Directors in March 2020, after already stepping away from day-to-day work back in 2008. He remained involved only as a technology advisor to Satya Nadella and other Microsoft leaders.
  2. Microsoft has not officially announced Windows 12. Recent Microsoft Q&A responses still state that there is no official Windows 12 announcement or confirmed release date as of May 2026.
  3. There is no public Microsoft announcement of a “Microsoft Bank” being bundled with Windows 12. A project like that would involve major banking regulation, identity verification, anti-money-laundering rules, licensing, and international compliance. If it were real and near release, Microsoft would almost certainly announce it through official Microsoft channels, investor filings, or regulatory disclosures.
Important warning: If anyone is contacting you claiming to be Bill Gates, Microsoft, PayPal, or a “Microsoft Bank” representative and asking for money, identity documents, banking details, crypto, gift cards, or account access, treat it as a likely scam until verified through official channels.
If you have an official Microsoft link, press release, patent filing, or screenshot related to this, feel free to share it here and we can help check whether it appears legitimate.
