Windows 7 Black Screen !!! please help

Yesterday I have updated my ATI drivers with this one

10-12_vista64_win7_64_dd_ccc_enu

and since this time, I get a black screen from time to time and I have to reboot the PC again

WhoCrashed gives me this info :

Trusteer Rapport is the most likely culprit. Please uninstall this and post new crashes if they happen at all. Or tell us of good results, instead, after some time.

Also, please follow what it says in my signature about CPU-Z.

I desinstalled Trusteer Rapport just in case...

Memory is set wrong with too tight of timings, and way underclocked for the frequency.

Load the Optimized Defaults in the bios, save, boot to Windows and then post a new memory tab.

After a day or so without problems, you can re-install Trusteer. But leave it off for now.

can you please tell me which values needs to be changed into the BIOS... I just went in it and I don't want to create a mess !! as I'm not a computer specialist

Loading the Optimized Defaults is designed precisely for a fool-proof way to set everything well, simply by doing just that one thing then saving.

Have you loaded the optimized defaults as instructed by TorrentG? Attach the memory tab again so we can verify.

The timings should be automatically set as best for your RAM 9-9-9-24.

I would suggest to remove Daemon Tools and maybe reinstall Catalyst, but it won't help if the memory is set wrong.

Few issues :

- Despite I know how to reach my BIOS (AMI version 0808), I have no clue what menu I should use to change all required values !

- I have attached few more screens from CPU and Everest

- Daemon tools does not appear as an application on my PC (using CCcleaner). Are you sure it's installed ?

Look up in your manual. Try optimized defaults/fail-proof settings.

The memory is set wrong at the moment.

I guess I will have to live with this black screen as looking at the BIOS manual, it sounds too complex for me (DRAM Bus Voltage, DRAM DATA REF Voltage on CHA/B/C, DRAM Timing control, DRAM Frequency, etc...)

What should be the values for my memory ?

DRAM Timing control and DRAM Frequency sounds what you need. It's safe to set each one of those "Auto".

Look for the option in your bios that reads something like "Load optimized defaults" - it will set the right settings automatically.
