I am going blue at infrequent times. This is a Dell WIN 7 32 bit machine. The bug check code is:

0x000000fc (0xa0c318d0, 0x4962c963, 0xa0c31824, 0x00000002) - it also has a large memory dump (260 MB) which I hesitate to attach because of size. It also says something about a report: Report Id: 092010-15865-01.

Is the mother board doomed?

I've been watching heat - nothing abnormal.

Hello rla and Welcome to the forums. :)

Bug Check 0xFC means that an attempt was made to execute non-executable memory, which happens due to corrupted memory stick(-s) or because of bad drivers. You can try memtest.org overnight.

A single .dmp files should be less than a megabyte, located in C:\Windows\Minidump. Please set it small memory dump, then when you get a few .dmp's - attach them here.

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click System.
  3. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
  4. In the Write debugging information list, click Small memory dump (64k).
