Hi,
I recently had a new computer built (completely new to the process) and started it up. It was running just fine, for 15-20 minutes, but then I started getting repeated BSOD error messages with minimal activity. Seeing as how the computer is brand new I've only installed a video card driver as well as software that came with the Gigabyte (z77-DS3H)MOBO cd.

System Specs:
processor: intel core i7
Video card: Geforce GTX 660
RAM: 32 gig (2x8) (corsair vengeance)

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033
Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 124

BCP2: FFFFFA8010457028
BCP3: 00000000B2000000
BCP4: 0000000081000402
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 768_1
C:\Users\Andrew\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-28282-0.sysdata.xml
I've run MDSCHED and CHKDSK /R without errors.
I'm out of ideas but to send it into best buy's geek squad PLEASE HELP! Thanks

Hello there!

Most of the times 0x124 is mainly referring to Hardware. Since it's a new rig, it's possible there might be Hardware incompatibility. Let's run a Hardware Diagnostic Hardware Diagnostic | Captain Debugger both RAM & Hard drive.

If you're Overclocking please stop it. Reset the BIOS to default settings. Download HW Monitor and check the temps. Please update your chipset drivers i.e. Drivers for Processor & Motherboard as well.

Run SFC Scannow to rule out any corrupted file systems. SFC /SCANNOW to Repair Windows 7 Files | Captain Debugger
