Hi everyone.
For the last few days, my computer has been getting the dreaded multiple BSODs a little after I initiate file transfer over network. It happens both with wireless and wired connections. I have done memory scan, the hardware scans mentioned in this forum but everything appears to be fine.Computer works fine otherwise.
I am attaching the zip file of the dumps as well as other info requested to see if any fine minds here can figure it out! Thanks a lot in advance!

Your BIOS dates from 2008. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

Only 634 MB of RAM available. Please upgrade the RAM in your system. While waiting to upgrade, please trim your startup items using the Startup tab in Task Manager - and only run one program at a time.

Only 114 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 150 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

C: drive only has about 10% free space. Windows likes 15% free space in order to perform stuff "behind the scenes" without adversely affecting the system's performance. Please free up 15% on ALL hard drives (you can get away with 10% on larger drives and won't notice a large performance penalty)

These devices have issues:
Base System Device PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0592&SUBSYS_022E1028&REV_12\4&27D043C9&0&4BF0 The drivers for this device are not installed.

Viscosity Virtual Adapter V9.1 ROOT\NET\0000 This device is disabled.
The first device is most likely your Ricoh Memory Stick Controller - please download the latest Win8 compatible driver from the Dell support website. I seem to recall that some systems have both the Ricoh Memory Card Reader and the Ricoh Memory Stick Reader installed.

The second device is disabled. If it's not needed, please un-install it from your system. If it is needed, then please enable it and update it's drivers. Feel free to disable it once it's been updated with the latest, Win8 compatible drivers.

If this isn't a compatibility issue, then I'd suggest making sure that you've updated your chipset drivers and your storage controller drivers to versions that are compatible with Win8.

A google search gave me these specs for your system:

  • Chipset Mobile Intel PM965 Express
  • Storage Controller is most likely the Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) package - which is an update of the Intel Matrix Storage Manager
Most current downloads available are at Intel Download Center

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
