    spd. memory.

Been getting a few BSODs, but I cleared them with CCleaner by accident. This is the most recent one.

    I've also been getting 0xA / IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

I've done some research on the problem and it seems to be driver related, but I just can't seem to pinpoint which driver as it points to a windows system file!

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Cheers

Welcome to the forum, Andy. :)

RAM is the culprit of your crashes, currently set wrong.

    1. PassMark RAMMon - Identify RAM type, speed & memory timings

    2. Update drivers:

    Intel Management Engine
    HECIx64.sys Thu Sep 17 15:54:16 2009

    Intel Turbo Boost
    Impcd.sys Mon Oct 12 22:00:51 2009
    Intel® Driver Update Utility

    3. Let's not uninstall McAfee yet, give me your RamMon txt report first.

    HMT125S6TFR8C-H9 x 2, set them DDR1333Mhz 9-9-9-24 1.5v. Bios > Dram.

Edit: reattach CPU-Z memory snip so I can see if your new settings are right.

Hi again I can't seem to find the intel turbo boost driver or the management engine from the link you provided, where do I go to get the thing?

Edit: I found the management engine VERIFICATION UTILITY and turbo boost MONITOR, but these don't seem to be drivers though.

    Intel® Driver Update Utility

Load that page in IE8, let the utility install and find the updates for you. Or go to your motherboard support instead.

SET THE RAM RIGHT IN THE BIOS - OR BSOD'S WILL NEVER STOP.

Get it from your motherboard support site, or just uninstall it for now.

SET RAM RIGHT. You have it wrong at the moment. RAM causes your blue screens.

The DELL BIOS seems to be very limited, and so there's nowhere for me to change any settings at all. Is there any software I can use to change the ram settings?

    IMAG0030. IMAG0028. IMAG0029. IMAG0031.

Is there an option to load setup/optimized defaults or something to that effect?

Yes it has, but the settings were all default anyway.

Here's another printscreen of CPU-Z after changing to default settings in the BIOS.

Edit: Also... what are my current settings? I don't actually know what all the numbers mean =/

Found this piece of software that lets me tweak the ram settings a bit.

I can change to 7 - 9 - 9 - 24 but not 9 - 9 - 9 - 24, the CAS# freq seems to be locked to 7.0, should I go ahead or would that be a bad idea? What other combination of timings can I do, bearing in mind that cas# freq is locked to 7?

Your current settings are 1066Mhz 7-7-7-20.

    You have two sticks of HMT125S6TFR8C-H9 x 2, to be set DDR1333Mhz 9-9-9-24 1.5v.

Check if your motherboard supports DDR1333.
