Windows 7 BSOD - Memory management

I've been getting semi-frequent (few per day) BSOD's with the "memory management" message, mostly while playing WoW, but sometimes just doing random web surfing. On a possibly related note, I've been getting very frequent WoW errors that cite:

"ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal exception!

Program: C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Wow-64.exe
ProcessID: 5516
Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 0033:000000013FE6481E

The instruction at "0x000000013FE6481E" referenced memory at "0x0000000000000000".
The memory could not be "written"."

Attached all files as instructed in the stickied post. Any help would be extremely appreciated!

*EDIT* Just got another BSOD: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT, as I was trying to run Windows update. Strongly thinking this is leading to bad memory now?

Sorry for the delay in responding. There just aren't that many people who do BSOD analysis, so at times we get a bit overwhelmed!

Only 86 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 150 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all). Try it with a wired connection to help speed it up (and to isolate if the wifi connection is the cause).

You have a Linksys AE2500 wireless USB network adapter:
I do not recommend using wireless USB network devices. Especially in Win7/Win8 systems.
These wireless USB devices have many issues with Win7(and I suspect with Win8) - using Vista drivers with them is almost sure to cause a BSOD.
Should you want to keep using these devices, be sure to have Win7/Win8 drivers - DO NOT use Vista drivers!!!
An installable wireless PCI/PCIe card that's plugged into your motherboard is much more robust, reliable, and powerful.

Beyond that, I also suspect your Norton security software. Please try this:
Anti-Virus Removal:
Please do the following:
- download a free anti-virus for testing purposes: Free AntiVirus If using Windows 8, enable Windows Defender and the Windows Firewall instead.
- un-install the Norton from your system (you can reinstall it, if so desired, when we're done troubleshooting)
- remove any remnants of Norton using this free tool: http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20080710133834EN
- IMMEDIATELY install and update the free anti-virus (if using Win8, enable Windows Defender), then check to ensure that the Windows Firewall is turned on.
- perform a full system scan to ensure that no malware has snuck onto your system while the anti-virus was malfunctioning.
- check to see if this fixes the BSOD's
NOTE: NEVER run more than 1 anti-virus, firewall, Internet Security/Security Center application at the same time.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

AppleCharger.sys Tue Nov 1 22:46:00 2011 (4EB0AEE8)
GIGABYTE On/Off Charge driver. See here for details - GIGABYTE ON/OFF Charge [br] May cause BSOD on Win7/8 systems - uninstall to test (haven't seen recently (15Jan2013))
http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=AppleCharger.sys

You can try these free hardware diagnostics also (I don't suspect a hardware problem, but it's always a good idea to check): Initial Hardware Diagnostics

I removed Norton and installed Microsoft Security Essentials instead, but got another BSOD while it was running a full scan. I'm currently using a wired connection, but after installing a few updates and restarting, now I'm unable to search for updates because of error Code C002001B. The driver for the Linksys 2500 is the most up to date Windows 7 version.

Working on getting updates and new drivers installed, will report back with results ASAP.

Thanks for your help so far!

I'm unable to manually uninstall AppCharger via add/remove programs, but I unchecked the box for the driver via Autorun. I've tried running a full system scan with MSE a few times, but I can't make it all the way through before a BSOD. I've tried even a quick scan with the same results. Today's minidumps zipped and attached.

Does the system run in Safe Mode without Networking?

In the event that this is a malware problem, you can try these free, bootable rescue CD's: Free Online AntiMalware Resources

Also try these free bootable hardware diagnostics: Initial Hardware Diagnostics

Out of 13 memory dumps there were 6 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things:
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers)
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

Testing has most likely ruled out video drivers, wireless USB driver, Norton program, AppCharger program
There are (IMO) no more suspicious drivers in the memory dumps (caveat: not all faulting drivers will appear in the memory dumps)
This means (to me) that the problem probably isn't due to compatibility or low-level driver problems (although a corrupted driver is possible)

Problems with Windows Updates and anti-virus scans are suggestive of a malware problem - so the malware scans are advisable.

After that (presuming that the system scans clean), please try running Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings (if you're able to get into Windows) This will help to verify that it's not a corrupted 3rd party driver

Problems in Safe Mode are generally indicative of an issue that's not due to 3rd party drivers (leaving hardware or Windows as the likely cause). There are a few 3rd party drivers that load in Safe Mode, but they're mostly for the storage sub-system.
When operating in Safe Mode w/Networking, the 3rd party network drivers will load also. Also, a lot of malware won't load in Safe Mode - but there's enough out there that does load in Safe Mode that we can't dismiss it.

Try running SFC.EXE /SCANNOW from an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt if the system will stay in Windows long enough.

Just FYI - at some point it may become advisable to wipe the hard drive and reinstall Windows. Should you choose to do this, please have a look at these instructions (it'll help with ruling out Windows problems if the BSOD's remain after the re-install): Canned Speeches Don't forget to run the hardware diagnostics before doing this!!!

I tried booting into safe mode to run SFC, but it gets to 26% and stops with the message: "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation."

Do you recommend just trying to reinstall Win7 at this point?

*EDIT* tried again, got to 47%/BSOD, 36%/fail, 52%/fail, 0%/BSOD.

Ran Memtest86 and got a ton of errors. Narrowed it down to a bad stick of RAM, going to pick up a new set and see if that solves it. Seems to be running pretty stable on just the single good stick at the moment.

All seems to be good after replacing the RAM! Thanks for all your time helping to narrow down the root cause of my issue.
