I recently was given this computer. I have some knowledge, but not much. Please forgive me if anything is out of the ordinary. I have done a little research, but I am starting to skim things and not fully take them in. I would love to have someone assist me with this.

I was recently trying to watch a video on Youtube, while playing a Java Game. My computer entered a BSoD. After it happened, I started to look up information on how to determine what this meant. I again encountered another one. I used to get these upon turning on my computer, at the Windows loading screen.

Here are my specs:
Motherboard: MSI 870A Fuzion
CPU: Phenom II x3 710
Graphics Card: EVGA GTX550Ti
Memory: Corsair XMS3 2x2GB
Power Supply: TR2 600W Model: W0388

I have a Wireless Mouse and Keyboard, attached through the PS/2 connector, and nothing else attached via my USB.
I have also attached my CPU-Z of my memory, if someone can also take a look at these and let me know if things look good there, I would be very grateful.
Thank you for your time!

It's great that you're seeking assistance with the issues you're experiencing on your computer. Let's start by addressing the Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) you encountered while watching a YouTube video and playing a Java game.

Troubleshooting Steps for BSoD Issues:

  1. Check Event Viewer:
    • Go to Event Viewer to view the details of the error that caused the BSoD. Look for critical errors in the logs.
    []Update Drivers:
    • Ensure all your drivers are up to date, especially the graphics card driver, to prevent compatibility issues.
    [
    ]Check for Overheating:
    • Verify that your system isn't overheating. Excessive heat can cause BSoD errors.

    • Clean any dust from your system and ensure proper airflow.
    []Memory Check:
    • Run a memory diagnostic test (like Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool) to check if there are any issues with your RAM.

      CPU-Z Analysis:

Once you provide the CPU-Z information, I can review it to ensure your memory settings are correct and see if there are any irregularities that could be causing system instability.

      Additional Information Required:

    [
]If you encounter any specific error codes or messages during the BSoD episodes, please share them.
  2. Are there any recent changes or installations that preceded the BSoD occurrences? Let's start by analyzing the CPU-Z information you provided. Please go ahead and upload the CPU-Z file, and let's take a closer look.
