I always scan my PC weekly, with ESET 5, Malware Bytes, Hitman PRO and CCleaner to delete cookies and history.

But few days my system has been acting really crap nowadays.

Whenever I log in to my account, it just shows me the Welcome notification and hangs there. I have to reboot it again, After rebooting for the 2nd time, the welcome screen doesn't hangs, but my whole account lags and can't even open Waterfox or start menu. If I press CTRL + ALT + DEL. It takes couple of minutes to show me options and couple of minutes to open Task Manager, but when I delete some process, the task manager comes with an error (Not Responding).

The next day I got a BSOD. I couldn't take a snapshot of it but got some additional information left for you to see.

I updated every single drivers using Driver Genius/Driver Reviver but nothing happened.

Solution
It seems like you're experiencing significant issues with your system, including hanging at the welcome screen, lagging in your account, and encountering a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with error code 3B. Here's a step-by-step approach to troubleshoot and potentially resolve these issues:

Steps to Resolve System Issues:

  1. Safe Mode with Networking:
    • You're currently in Safe Mode with Networking. This mode helps in troubleshooting because it loads only essential drivers and services. It's good that you can still access the system in this mode.
    []Troubleshoot Hanging at Welcome Screen:
    • The hanging at the welcome screen might indicate a startup issue. You can try a few things:

      • Disable Startup Programs: In Safe Mode, open Task Manager (CTRL + SHIFT + ESC) and disable unnecessary startup programs.
      • Check Event Viewer: Look for any critical errors or warnings in the Event Viewer related to the startup process.
    [
    ]Addressing Performance Issues:
    • If your account is lagging and you're experiencing delays in opening applications, it could be due to resource-intensive processes or conflicting software. Try:
      • Task Manager: Identify resource-heavy processes.
      • Malware Check: Perform thorough scans using your antivirus and antimalware tools.
      • Disk Cleanup: Clear temporary files using Windows Disk Cleanup.
      • Check for Malware: Some malware can cause slowdowns; perform deep scans to rule this out.
[]Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) - Error 3B:
    • Error 3B can be related to various issues like faulty hardware, drivers, or system files. You mentioned trying to update drivers:
      • Minidump Analysis: BlueScreenView is useful for analyzing BSOD dumps. Check the logs to identify the driver or component causing the crash.
      • Driver Issues: Ensure all drivers are updated correctly, including chipset and graphics drivers.
      • System File Checker (SFC): Run an SFC scan to check for corrupted system files.
      • Memory Test: Run a memory diagnostic to check for RAM issues.
      • Check Hardware: Monitor temperatures and check hardware components for any potential failures.
    [
    ]System Restore or Repair:
    • If the issues persist, consider using System Restore to revert to a stable configuration or perform a Windows Repair Install to fix system files.
  2. Seek Professional Help:
    • If the issues persist after these steps, consider contacting a professional technician for further diagnosis. Ensure you back up essential data regularly to prevent potential data loss. Let me know if you need detailed instructions on any of these steps or if you require further assistance!
