I recently built a new computer and a day after getting windows 7 installed I started getting BSOD's randomly. They tend to happen when i'm not on the computer or the computer is idle with nothing running. Everyonce and a while it will BSOD while i'm on it but that is rare. I have an Asus P7H55-M PRO MB, 2 gig sticks of G. Skill DDR3 (x2) , Intel i3 550 Clarkdale, Geforce GT 440 Video Card. The BSOD's always blame the ntoskrnl.exe at fault. I ran the windows memory checker to verify my ram was good, will run memtest86 tomorrow. I'll attach my .dmp files so you guys can look through them. Thanks for any help because this is very frustrating and I can't seem to resolve the issue on my own.

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff80002e7c634, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: fffff880031a05b8, Exception Record Address

After looking over other threads in this forum I saw where you had suggested someone turned on XMP and had their ram run at 1600MHZ which was the same g-skill ram I had. I've done that and also renamed a driver I saw asus utilities were notorious for causing BSOD's, now I am having no BSOD's as of yet, when the computer was idle I would get them every four hours or more and now it has been 16 hours with no BSOD's. Hopefully it was that, any other suggestions? Should I go ahead and run memtest86 just to make sure?

Yes, right move. Check for your RAM if you are supposed to set the voltage manually, since wrong voltage can cause problems too.

The CPU is running 3200Mhz at idle, the feature EIST (lowerring frequency when idle) should be on.

asus utilities were notorious

- no, not in your case. Only if they are old.

Memtest - run it IF you keep getting blue screens. If no bsods now, then no need to waste your time.
