    Hi all,

I just installed Windows 7 64-bit onto a new Intel SSD and installed numerous drivers for various components. I've been getting BSOD about every 5 minutes and I assume it's one of the drivers but I am not sure. The screen flashes up so quickly I don't have time to read any of it. I have dump files from the two most recent crashes.View attachment 070211-8377-01.zipView attachment 070211-8845-01.zip

Thanks for all of your help!

Hi chojnacj, Can I just ask do you have the same problem in Safe Mode? I'm taking a look at your dmp files now to see if I can spot anything.

UPDATE #1 They are both blaming your Death Adder Mouse Driver, dadder.sys. I'll update this post with a full report a.s.a.p.

It seems to run fine in safe mode. After the first BSOD about 2 hours ago I booted in safe mode and there seemed to be no problems.

There isn't too much on the computer yet. I literally installed Windows today after my Western Digital HDD decided to die on me. I've only installed Firefox, 7-zip, uTorrent, and VLC player. I just hope the SSD isn't causing this.

EDIT: Ah, that must be it then. I went to the Razer site and got an updated driver. Hopefully that will correct the issue. I'll update this thread if there's any more problems, but I doubt there will be. Thank you so much, you saved me who knows how many hours of uninstalling and reinstalling!

STOP 0x0000001E: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (go to top of page)
    Usual causes:
Device driver, hardware, System service, compatibility, Remote control programs, memory, BIOS

Your dump files list dadder.sys Mon Apr 19 10:04:42 2010 as the probable cause. This is your DeathAdder Mouse driver.
Old and incompatible drivers can and do cause issues with Windows 7, often giving false error codes.

I can see no horror stories in your dump files, a couple of drivers could do with updating though.

    Drivers with Updates:

Rtenic64.sys Fri Jul 02 11:01:00 2010 Realtek 10/100/1000 NIC Family all in one NDIS Driver. Sorry, no direct link for this one a.t.m. Might be under here: Realtek. Would appreciate you letting me know so I can add it to my list if you beat me to locating it!.

RtHDMIVX.sys Tue Nov 23 10:27:12 2010 ATI HDMI Audio Device (in RED) R2.62 Note!! This one is "controlled" by your CCC set up. You may want to leave it as it is. Below driver would be more important to update.
    RTKVHD64.sys Thu Dec 30 03:52:42 2010 Realtek HD Audio R2.62

    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (1e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
    Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000000, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 0000000000000000, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: 0000000000000000, Parameter 0 of the exception
    Arg4: 0000000000000000, Parameter 1 of the exception

Let us know how it goes. If you get further problems with blue screens, attach your new dump files and details and we'll move on from there.

As an aside, I used to get problems with uTorrent (I'm on 64bit) so I "updated" to the old v2.0.4 build22967 and haven't had another problem. It may be sorted out by now but I still haven't moved on. If it aint broke etc etc. You can still get that 2.0.4 version at FileHippo.

    HTH.
