I've asked in so many other forums for help with this, but people arn't following through after an initial 'oh, that might be *insert problem here*.' I really want to get this sorted, so I'm hoping you guys here will do a better job than the other Windows 7 forums I've tried.

Anyway, I get this written on the Blue Screen itself:

A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval

Had this about 4 times now, and I get the same thing every time.

The other Windows 7 forum requested the attached zip file, apparently it's a more in-depth look at the 'dumps' or something? (bare with me, I'm not the most savvy with this technnical stuff). Despite giving them that, they havn't been much help!

I'd really appreciate any help I can get on this. Thanks in advance!

Hope you guys can help. Anyway, I don't know if the answer to my BSOD problem is in that reply somewhere, but I may have mentioned I'm not the most savvy with technical stuff. If there's any way any replies can be broken down into easy-to-follow steps, I'd really appreciate that :)

Thanks for the instant response though, you've been much quicker than the other forums so far as is!

Also, I don't know if my specs might be needed, if so, just ask and I'll write them up! Thanks.

Can you do a few things please

remove your current AV - replace with microsoft security essentials

download a program call Anti Malwarebytes

    run scans with both programs

We need more information about your system voltage and RAM timings, can you download a program called CPU-Z and post the information of each tab please

Just a head's up, this is a brand new system. Just to rule out some of the checks that might need to be made on an older system!

Also, I can't continue this tonight, it's very late here, but I'll get back on here tomorrow, and go through the steps to get you the info you need. In only a few replies you've at least shown a better attitude towards helping others than the other forums have so far, so thanks for that! :)

    Okay, round 2!

I uninstalled ESET Smart Security, put MSE on, run a scan, no problems detected. I installed Mal Ware Bytes, run a scan, no problems detected:

I then installed CPU Z, not really sure what you needed from this, so I printscreened all of it:

(This one is temporary, and I've had BSOD while using IGPU and running with a proper GPU)

Also, I'm not sure what driver you're asking me to download? I downloaded the zip from the link you provided (the TurboHDDUSB thing), but I havn't installed it yet as I don't know what it's for. Any help here would be great :)

    Thanks again!

You asked me to download 'a' driver, not any peticular one? Or is the link you provided the driver itself? and if so, what is it used for?

    Thanks!

It's asking for a serial key, and I don't have one. The only type of fast USB transfere thingy I have on this computer is what came on the motherboard disc, which is called 'XFast USB' which is an ASRock product.

Okay, we've paused a bit here! Here's a question, do I actually need this TURBO HDD USB? Because it's asking for a serial key, meaning it's not updating anything I have on my system. Instead, it's trying to install a program I don't yet have. If I don't really need this, I can skip this part, and move on.

JUst skip it for the time being. Does the ASROCK software have an update. I've also noticed your running your memory at a Command rate of 1T can you set it to 2T and see if that makes your system more stable.

If you're referring to like, BIOS updates, I havn't updated my BIOS since I got it. Not really sure how to do it. As for the Command rate, I could try, but I'd need help doing that too.

Bare in mind though, my system feels completely stable. The blue-screen thing is a rare occurrence, and the intervals in which is happens are usually a week or more apart. So I'd never really know if my system felt any more stable from minor changes until (if) I get another blue screen.

Okay, had another blue screen today. Same deal as the others. I hope you guys are still willing to help, cause things have gone a quiet here.

A quick update, my BIOS is updated to the latest firmware, and without issue. So I'm ready to try something new.

I'm not sure if this is a motherboard issue or a CPU issue, but I've been suspecting my motherboard of being the cause of two faulty graphics cards since getting this system build, yet the blue screen error mentions something about the CPU or something failing to initialize within the allocated timeframe, or something along those lines.

Any continued help on this would be great. And if possible, if anyone knows of more direct routes to solving this one, I'd appreciate it as my warranties are running down on my hardware, and I'm trying to pick out faulty parts!

    Thanks for any help.

Hi Anesthetize (hard one to type, why not just Fred? :D**)

Can you post your new dump file please.

    EDIT!!

I see you have the ASRockXTU program in your Startup. If you are O/C'ing can you set default settings until your problems are solved.

While on about Startup, I'd remove Daemon Tools and Steam as a minimum from starting with the PC. Unless, of course, you have a pressing need to join battle and burn a dvd as soon as you start your PC! :D **

** You'll have to excuse my humour :)

Thanks for the reply buddy. Umm, the name is the title of a song I love ;)

I've completely forgotten how to make a zip with all the dump files in, but I can provide another one of these:

I don't have any overclocking going on right now with my CPU. The GPU is overclocked a little, but it was OC'ed by the Manufacturer and these Blue Screens were happening with and without a GPU in the system.

Also the first Blue Screen I had I got before I ever installed Steam or Daemon Tools, and I believe this recent one is caused by whatever caused the first one. I can kick Daemon Tools, but this PC was kinda built as a gaming PC, and I'm not sure if uninstalling Steam uninstalls all the games attached to it, but if so, that's over a day to reinstall everything after Steam has been reinstalled, if I uninstall Steam now.

The Blue Screen errors mentioned something about the CPU though. Something to do with it not responding before an allowcated time or something. I had it wrote down, but I lost the paper. This seems like it's happening because of some CPU setting somewhere, though I could be completly off. But as mentioned above, it seems to be such a rare thing that anything I do try I couldn't possibly know if it's fixed the situation until it happens again, which could be weeks away!

I appreciate the reply though, and I'm up for anymore suggestions.

Do not uninstall steam, your games will go with it. You could however move the steamapps folder contaning your games somewhere else before uninstalling it though. In my opinion I can't see it being steam. Steams is now compiled with full windows 7 support has been for quite awhile. To zip up your .dmp files, create a folder on your desktop called dumps. Copy the .dmp to the folder. Right click folder and send to compressed file.
