bsod stop 0124, please help

#1
hey all,
been having some blue screen problems with my newly built pc. its only about 2 weeks old and i built it myself.
I will attach the zipped file and hopefully included everything needed. If more info is needed please just ask and i'll get on it right away. Hoping to figure things out soon in case its a hardware issue and need to ship back the piece and get a new one. Thanks in advance

p.s. sorry i had to attach two zipped files to make size requirements. bsod info contains screenshots of cpu-z and rammon fyi

Most recently I got STOP 0x124's on a Dell system with a new video card. Reseating the video card fixed the problems.
Most problems with a new system are connection related. Unplug the system from the wall, crack open the case and carefully reseat each and every connection and card. I had to do this for nearly every build I've done over the last 20 years (my success rate is much higher now - I learned from my mistakes!).

Systeminfo.txt file is empty. Please rerun the data collection app and let it run for at least 15 minutes (or until the app itself says that it's done). Then zip it up and upload it with your next post.

SSD's were temperamental when they first came out, but their reliability has improved greatly over the last year or two. There are 2 things that MUST be checked on systems with BSOD's and SSD's:
1) That the SSD firmware is the latest available for the SSD
2) That the storage controller drivers on the motherboard are the most recent. They must date from late 2012 or later. This is ALL controllers, not just the one that the SSD is attached to.
Your Intel RST (Rapid Storage Technology) drivers date from 2010.
Your Intel RAID storage driver (iaStorv.sys) dates from before mid-2013 and isn't good for SSD's. Try this driver (I got this link on 10 Jul 2013):
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/De...rapid+Storage+Technology+(Intel+RST)&lang=eng
Use the SetupRST.exe file - the other 2 are the "preinstall" drivers for use when first installing an OS that doesn't have these drivers. If it doesn't install, post back and I'll research it further.
Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

AiChargerPlus.sys Wed Apr 18 21:17:35 2012 (4F8F67AF)
Asus Charger Driver [br] Likely BSOD cause - haven't seen recently (15Jan2013)
http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=AiChargerPlus.sys

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics. Let us know the results and we can move on from there.

The following info is just for record keeping documentation. No need to read it unless you're curious. There are links at the very bottom to assist with looking up drivers (if needed).

thank you so much for all the help and support you provided, it was very thorough.
I found out late yesterday that ai suite 3 is a pesky bit of software and restored to an unstable overclock...i believe this to be the cause of the blue screens and so made sure to change settings in bios not just in the software. so far been bsod free for a bit and hoping that was the issue.

i did however follow some of your suggestions and update some old drivers, i hadn't realized were out of date.
i got rid of ai charger + since i have no real need for it...

had a follow up question about the missing service pack 1, how should i go about addressing this issue, if it needs to be addressed.

thank you again

Removing the overclock was a good move. Leave it off until the system is stable - then feel free to start it up again. If the BSOD's come back, then it'll most likely be the overclock that's causing them at that point.

I've scanned through the previous posts and don't see anything related to a missing service pack. The dump files state that you do have SP1 installed:
Windows 7 Kernel Version 7601 (Service Pack 1) MP (4 procs) Free x64
