Hi I've been getting a BSOD whenever I run a MSE full scan, it runs for a couple of hours and then crashes. Thank you very much for your help!
(sorry, the PassMark RAMMon wouldn't attach as an html file)

Hi Hyshai and Welcome to The Forum.

    STOP 0x000000F4: CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION.

Your latest dump file lists as the probable cause. This is a Windows System file and for it to be the cause of your crash is highly unlikely.
Old and incompatible drivers can and do cause issues with Windows 7, often giving false error codes. Random stop codes can often indicate hardware issues.

    As a Priority:

RAM TIMINGS Your ram timings are set to 5-5-5-15 where it should be set to 6-6-6-18 If the timings are not set to auto, then try auto first. CPU-Z will tell you what you are actually getting under the Memory tab.

    Thanks for your response.
-I updated the RealTek family etc. driver.
-I don't have an option in my BIOS (Toshiba Portable PC) to change RAM timings. :(
-No upgrade availablefor the ATI thing
-It crashed again while scanning for viruses (MSE full scan)

    Thanks again!

All four of your latest dump files give:

    STOP 0x0000007A: KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR
Usual causes: Memory, Paging file corruption, File system, Hard drive, Cabling, Virus infection, Improperly seated cards, BIOS, Bad motherboard, Missing Service Pack.

All four of them blame memory corruption.

Run Memtest86+ overnight, after your computer has been off for about an hour or two so it has a cold start. Ideally let it run for at least 7 passes / 6-8 hours. If errors appear before that you can stop that particular test.
Note!! Any time Memtest86+ reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad Mobo slot. Test RAM sticks individually. When you find a good one then test it in all slots. Post back with the results.

I'll try to find the other amd driver for you.

A couple of other things to do.

Run checkdisk. In an elevated command prompt type chkdsk c: /R then Enter.

Delete your current paging files to reset.

GoTo Start r-click Computer > Properties > Advanced system settings > Advanced tab > Performance, Settings button > Advanced tab. Go into virtual memory and set all no paging file.
After a re-boot go back in and set a paging file to system managed size then re-boot again.

BTW!! Your ram timings are fine!

Did you use the msi file or did you try to install manually? Manual's the way to go.

    Driver Install - Manual method

    1. Download the driver and extract it to a folder.
    2. Open the Device Manager.
    3. Right click the device you wish to change the drivers for. You can select Properties > Driver > Driver Details to check you have the right device.
    4. Choose Update Driver Software.
    5. Select Browse My Computer For Driver Software.
    6. Select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
    7. Select Have disk...
    8. Select Browse..
    9. Navigate to the extracted folder and double click on the .inf file
    10. Hit OK, then Next and the driver(s) will then begin to install.
    11. After it has installed, GoTo C:\Windows\System32\Drivers. Locate the driver you've just updated, right click it and check the dates under its properties.

Thanks so much, Elmer, for continuing to assist me.

I can't figure out which driver is the one needing to be (manually) installed. Is it one of these: Capture.PNG

It happened again while running MSE, I'm just thinking maybe the computer (laptop) is overheating and causing the BSOD. (It's resting on a soft surface (a cushioned chair). Is that possible?

This time the BSOD said the eror was with ataport.sys

Putting a laptop on a soft surface isn't the best of idea's as it'll block the air vent's. As the last bsod mentioned ataport.sys can you open a command prompt with admin rights and run chkdsk c: /R and then run sfc /scannow. You could download a prog called coretemp to keep an eye on your cpu temp.

You're looking for the "AMD PCI Express (3GIO) Filter Driver" (Thanks nmsuk!)

Personally I think "laptop" is the biggest misnomer of all time. They have a little rubber foot on each corner. These tend to be there for a reason. :)
If you insist you're going to stick it on your lap, it should at least be on a tray. (my step-daughter never listens to me either!!)

Haha yeah, I guess if you're sitting at a desk then the laptop is on top (above) your lap :)

I don't have AMD PCI Express in device manager Capture.PNG :(

Thanks Elmer and NmsUK for your awesome help!!

My only other suggestion (as I don't have that driver on my system) is to open the Device Manager. Under View in the menu bar select Show hidden devices. Then manually check the Properties > Drivers of every device listed.

The laptop comments were not specifically aimed at you, just the whole world! :) :) :)

I give up, the only driver that I could find even similar to AMD PCI express is C:/Windows/.....pci.sys

But is it possible that since the MSE scan is CPU intensive the laptop overheats and causes BSOD? It really only happens after a couple of hours of running.
