    Hello,

I am having an issue where different blue screens keep coming up on windows 7 64bit. I installed Vista 32bit and used it for over a month without a blue screen. Recently, I just tried to install Win 7 64 back on with no luck, still blue screens. Memory check was clean on a 8 hour test.

    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (1e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
    Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000000, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 0000000000000000, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: 0000000000000000, Parameter 0 of the exception

    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
    happening.
    Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff880056c4036, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: fffff88003123298, Exception Record Address
    Arg4: fffff88003122b00, Context Record Address

The memory settings look right. 9-9-9-24. You might want to re-verify 9-9-9-24 with the official rated specs for your RAM.

The latest driver for NEC USB 3.0 is Nov. 2010. I would update this one since your blue screens are caused by usbfilter.sys.

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (50)
Invalid system memory was referenced. This cannot be protected by try-except,
it must be protected by a Probe. Typically the address is just plain bad or it
    is pointing at freed memory.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: ffffe4801fe301a4, memory referenced.
    Arg2: 0000000000000001, value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation.
Arg3: fffff8800464c238, If non-zero, the instruction address which referenced the bad memory
        address.
    Arg4: 0000000000000007, (reserved)

    Let's see ....

    Code:
    [B]BugCheck 1E, {0, 0, 0, 0}
    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (1e)
Probably caused by : usbohci.sys (usb Open Host Controller Interface)
PROCESS_NAME: audiodg.exe (Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation)
    Stack: nt! (3) usbport! (3) hal! (4) usbport! (4) usbohci! (2) nt! (7)[/B]

The drivers are all up to date now.

    1. Do you have any plug and play USB devices that your crash dumps may not even show, if so could you list them? You have Logitech SetPoint but I seriously doubt it's the causer.

    2. As your previous crash dump points out, it is likely a hardware fault - a USB device or the motherboard itself:

    Code:
    [B]SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
    Probably caused by : usbfilter.sys
EXCEPTION_DOESNOT_MATCH_CODE: This indicates a hardware error.
Instruction at fffff880056c4036 does not read/write to 0000000070627375[/B]

    3. Let's check your RAM :

    1)
Give link to your RAM sticks

    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (1e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
    Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000000, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 0000000000000000, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: 0000000000000000, Parameter 0 of the exception
    Arg4: 0000000000000000, Parameter 1 of the exception

    I use 3 USB devices
    1. Dell Keyboard
    2. Logitech Mx518 Mouse
    3. Microsoft LX-3000 Headset - Using Plug and play Drivers

Here is a link to my Mainboard and Ram

I have run memtest through an 8 hour test before, but I will try again tonight

    1.

Ok, thanks much for the links:

    - motherboard supports RAM DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1600/1333/1066
    - the RAM specs are 1333MHz, 9-9-9-24, 1.5V

Your current RAM timings are set correct 9-9-9-24. CPU-Z does not show your current voltage, but if you know it's "Auto" in the bios then it should be set right as well. Enter bios setup and verify that the voltage is set "Auto". Set the frequency 1333 Mhz manually.

    2. Run memtest tonight

    3. Run hdd SMART scan HDDScan

    Code:
    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
    Probably caused by : usbfilter.sys
EXCEPTION_DOESNOT_MATCH_CODE: This indicates a hardware error.
Instruction at fffff880056c4036 does not read/write to 0000000070627375

    BugCheck 1E, {0, 0, 0, 0}
    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (1e)
Probably caused by : usbohci.sys (usb Open Host Controller Interface)
PROCESS_NAME: audiodg.exe (Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation)
    Stack: nt! (3) usbport! (3) hal! (4) usbport! (4) usbohci! (2) nt! (7)
If passes all tests, then reformat and reinstall to test the system without software and drivers for a few days. If it is a hardware issue it'll pop up.

But how can it be a hardware issue if I can run Vista 32bit without error.

Is it possible something of mine is not compatible with Win7 64?

You may have not used Vista as much as 7 and therefore been lucky to avoid bsods.

    Unplug Microsoft LX-3000 Headset.
