Hey, i've been having this problem for about 1 year or something, i've formatted like twice and the problem disappears for about 1-2 months and then it comes back. I'm fed up with this.. i can't play any games and sometimes i get bluescreens from youtube videos. I've updated the drivers for my Radeon 5770 and just recently (2-4 days ago) updated my audio drivers which seemed to cause one BSoD. Anyway, here are the dumps.

Hi Sumatran and Welcome to the Forum.

    STOP 0x0000001A: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
    Usual causes:
    Device driver, memory, kernel

Your latest dump file lists memory corruption as the probable cause.
Old and incompatible drivers can and do cause issues with Windows 7, often giving false error codes.

I don't think that the following drivers will be your only problem here, but (especially the ASACPI) they won't be helping your issue.

Please see these threads:Take snips of the Memory tab and all the Slot #'s available under the SPD tab.
Please also download and run RAMMon and attach the report.

Be prepared to run Memtest. You need to make sure that your Ram settings are correct before running Memtest, but this will be a little light reading to prepare you!
Run Memtest86+ overnight, after your computer has been off for about an hour or two so it has a cold start. Let it run for at least 7 passes / 6-8 hours. If errors appear before that you can stop that particular test.
Note!! Any time Memtest86+ reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad Mobo slot. Test RAM sticks individually. When you find a good one then test it in all slots. Post back with the results.

    As a Priority:

ASACPI.sys Mon Mar 28 03:30:36 2005 This driver is notorious for causing BSOD's. There is an update here: Asus ATK0110 driver. Look under the sub-heading: Utilities. Approx. 12th one down.

    Driver Install - Manual method

    1. Download the driver and extract it to a folder.
    2. Open the Device Manager.
    3. Right click the device you wish to change the drivers for. You can select Properties > Driver > Driver Details to check you have the right device.
    4. Choose Update Driver Software.
    5. Select Browse My Computer For Driver Software.
    6. Select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
    7. Select Have disk...
    8. Select Browse..
    9. Navigate to the extracted folder and double click on the .inf file
    10. Hit OK, then Next and the driver(s) will then begin to install.
    11. After it has installed, GoTo C:\Windows\System32\Drivers. Locate the Asacpi.sys driver, right click it and check the dates under its properties. You're looking for a "Modified" date of 2009 or 2010. Rarely it can be a right pig to change.

    Outdated Drivers. Update:

I updated Asus ATK0110 Driver, it went fine

And about the Pilote USB audio (WDM); Creative wireless headset; Hs-1200 Digital Wireless Headset Creative" That doesn't seem right at all i have the "Fatal1ty USB Gaming Headset HS-1000" and i have the newest installed drivers for them already. Is it a "global" driver for multiple headsets?

    Thanks!!

I'm guessing it probably is. I found a "drivers downloads" for your headset Fatal1ty USB Gaming Headset HS-1000. It's showing the latest drivers as v1.01.0004 from June 2010. I've opened up the .exe file and the skfiltv.sys drivers are dated 14th August 2008 so that looks as good as it gets.

As a general rule of thumb, drivers should be dated 13 June 2009, or newer. This isn't always the case, even with Microsoft!!

Now we need someone who is up to speed with the RAM stuff. I'm not that man!! Especially with the DDR3 stuff. What I can say though, it's all the same serial number, that's a good thing.

    EDIT!!
Sounds like that's covered as well!

If i uninstall the new driver for my headset does W7 automatically detect that and install the ones from Windows Update? because that one worked. I just wanted to update it to see if that old driver was the culprit. Which it probably wasn't since i got a BSoD the day after i updated it.

I'd be careful with letting Windows Updates, or Device Manager for that matter, having the capacity to update your drivers. There's a very good chance it will "update" the ASACPI.SYS driver of 2009 back to the notorious 2005 version, which is more likely to be causing you problems (hence my "right pig" comment above).

Having said that, as long as you don't let it automatically update your device drivers, so you get to pick and choose, it may be worth a try. Just to see what drivers it gives you.

P.S. Have you had a BSOD since updating the ASACPI driver?

I have had no problems since i updated ASACPI but at the same time i haven't put the computer through any stress, like gaming. I will in a bit though.

Hey, wanted to say that i tried AIDA64 Extreme Edition today and used their tool "Cache and Memory Benchmark" and my computer crashed instantly giving me vertical grey/white lines everywhere, just like before but it didn't give me a minidump and i couldn't see it in my "BlueScreenView" the blue screen never appeared, but it happened exactly like it always does but without the bluescreen.

I've read that these grey vertical lines appear for others with 5770s.
    Quoting alfazulu from http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/page-274979_15_50.html

" Hi Guys I was haveing the same problem. Screen would get a bunch of different colors on it and than go to a blank screen different color each time. I was reading the reviews and I saw one about the Ati tray tools so I downloaded it and installed did not change anything and ever since I have installed it, which has been about 6 hours now I have yet to have any problems with it now. I think everybody should try this I think it will help. Change the voltage to I think it goes from 0.950 to 1.200 I changed it to 1.200 no problems Overclocked to 945 core and 1418.75 on the memory works great. It is the latest version I could find of the Ati tray tool Never had heard of it before tonight and it has helped me just fine.

Right. I've buggered up my Win Debug tools at the moment. That'll teach me to add a HDD and change the drive letters about!! As soon as I can I'll get at your dump file. It will be tonight (for me) so won't be too long a wait.

I got as far as reading:
    STOP 0x0000000A: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Usual causes: Kernel mode driver, System Service, BIOS, Windows, Virus scanner, Backup tool, compatibility.

When you upgrade your graphics drivers, do you run Driver Sweeper
in Safe Mode to get rid of any dregs left behind before installing the new set up?

I can't comment on the ATI Tray tools fix as I've not come across it before. In my list of "canned speeches" and "naughty drivers" I've nothing about it (negative) either, so may be worth a try.

    No Problem.

Your latest dump file indicate memory corruption as the probable cause which usually indicates out of date Drivers or Bad Memory.

Your drivers are looking pretty good to me. That's not to say there's nothing wrong somewhere. I might be missing something (I'm relatively new to this!!). I'll see if I can get a second opinion but I'm leaning towards a driver issue more than memory.

Windows has a file called FS_Rec.sys. You've got a file FS_Rac.sys. At the moment I can't find anything about this.

Ok :O... um anyway, i used Driver Sweeper in safe mode and reinstalled new drivers and i've been playing Team Fortress 2 for 3 hours.
Now i wouldn't know if it's gone or not because this is the first time i've actually played TF2 before the format, so we'll have to see what happens tomorrow.
I had all the settings on max on TF2 and it seemed to work better under pressure.

It's looking a bit more stable then. I'd do as the Cap'n says if you/we get another "indecisive" BSOD and set up Driver Verifier. It'll force a crash by stressing the drivers, but do that a few times and we should end up with a definite culprit..

Just for my curiosity can you see if you can give me the details about the FS-Rac.sys file, author etc.
