Hello again, I finally imported my .dbx files into Windows Live Mail successfully and can open the old emails in the new program, however, I cannot open the email. In this case its a document in .pdf format. When I double click it Windows 7 says I have no file associated with it and asks me to create one. I went to my "start" button and typed in "set file associations", it openend the whole list of possible extensions. PDF is set to open with Adobe. I can open emails already received within Windows Live Mail that have pdf extensions and it will open those but it will not associate or open a file with pdf extension from the old emails? What do I do now?
