Windows 7 can't get crysis to work

for some reason crysis comes up with an emulation error or something similar and don't know how to fix it

i have tried different drivers for my graphics card and have the latest BIOS update for my CPU which i had problems with Virtual XP.

graphics card: nVidia 8800GTS
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 2.2ghz

anyone had the same problem?
