Windows 7 Can't Install Novatel Ovation Mc950D

I have a Novatel Ovation mc950D and when i try to install the device it seems to be installing and then all of a sudden the install reverses and stops. So basically i have no clue why it wont install.
If anyone can help me out that would be great.

I've encountered the same conditions under build 7000 and build 7057. I downloaded the installation software from the Ovation device using a Vista PC, then attempted to install under W7 trying various compatibility settings - XP, Vista, etc. In every case, the installation failed, and the W7 installation diagnostic reported "Incompatible device detected".
