I don't know what wrong is it. Can anyone help me pls?
And one more thing, my laptop doesn't have a CD ROM, that's why I have to use an USB CD-ROM. I can't play DVD with my Windows Media Player... I don't know if that is about windows media player or the CD ROM.

Solution
It seems like you're encountering two separate issues on your Windows 7 Premium Home system - one related to signing in to Yahoo Messenger and the other concerning playing DVDs in Windows Media Player via a USB CD-ROM. Let's address these one by one:

Issue 1: Yahoo Messenger Sign-In Problem

The error you're encountering when trying to sign in to Yahoo Messenger can be caused by several factors like outdated software, compatibility issues, or network problems. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this:
  1. Update Yahoo Messenger: Ensure you have the latest version of Yahoo Messenger installed. Old versions may not be supported.

  2. Check Firewall Settings: Make sure your firewall isn't blocking Yahoo Messenger. Adjust settings to allow the application.
  3. Reset Internet Explorer Settings: Yahoo Messenger relies on Internet Explorer settings. Resetting them can sometimes resolve sign-in issues.
  4. Check Network Connection: Verify that your internet connection is stable and not blocking Yahoo Messenger.
  5. Run as Administrator: Try running Yahoo Messenger with administrator privileges to rule out permission issues.
  6. Compatibility Mode: Right-click on the Yahoo Messenger shortcut, go to Properties > Compatibility, and set compatibility mode for an older version of Windows.

Issue 2: Playing DVDs with USB CD-ROM and Windows Media Player

If you're unable to play DVDs using Windows Media Player with a USB CD-ROM, the problem could be with the DVD codec, Media Player settings, or the CD-ROM itself. Here's what you can do:
  7. Install a DVD Codec: Windows Media Player may require a DVD codec to play DVDs. Install a reliable codec pack to enable DVD playback.
  8. Update Windows Media Player: Make sure Windows Media Player is updated to the latest version available.
  9. Check CD-ROM Compatibility: Ensure that the USB CD-ROM is compatible with Windows 7 and its drivers are up to date.
  10. Use Alternative Players: Try using alternative media players like VLC Player that have built-in codecs for DVD playback. If these steps do not resolve the issues, it might be beneficial to seek further assistance from Yahoo Messenger support for the sign-in problem and the manufacturer of your USB CD-ROM for DVD playback issues. Let me know if you need further assistance or if you have any other questions!
