I have two computers on homegroup but I can't see the data drives on one of them. I have both data drives shared and when I go to network I can see the computer and when I open it up all it shows me is Pinter and shared docs.

When you have two computers connected in a homegroup but can't see the data drives on one of them, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve this issue: 1. Check Homegroup Sharing Settings: - Make sure that both computers are part of the same Homegroup and that sharing settings are properly configured. 2. Shared Permissions: - Check the sharing permissions on the data drives. You need to ensure that the necessary permissions are set to allow access to the shared drives. 3. Check Firewall Settings: - Sometimes, firewall settings can block access to shared drives. Ensure that the firewall settings on both computers are not blocking network sharing. 4. Network Discovery: - Enable network discovery on both computers. This setting allows your computer to see other devices on the network. 5. Restart HomeGroup Troubleshooter: - Use the HomeGroup troubleshooter tool to diagnose and fix common issues with HomeGroup sharing. 6. Advanced Sharing Settings: - Check the advanced sharing settings in Windows to make sure that network discovery, file and printer sharing, and other necessary settings are correctly configured. 7. Recreate Homegroup: - If all else fails, you may consider leaving the current Homegroup and creating a new one to see if that resolves the issue. You can also try accessing the shared data drives directly by entering the path in the File Explorer address bar using the following format: \\computername\sharedfolder. If you continue to experience issues, let me know, and we can further troubleshoot the problem.
