Why is CCleaner trying to delete some of my important programs? Like Google earth, Skype, MS Anti malware which is program for the safty of my computer, and a dozen more important programs.

Have a detailed look at the individual files to see what file type they are - they are all almost certainly temporary files cached for speeding up run time when the programs were running. If you want to exclude any of the files from ccleaner in the future then you can specify them in the options in ccleaner.

Patcooke is correct, CCleaner is not trying to delete the applications. CCleaner is deleting the temporary files that were created when the applications were used.

Edit:
On second thought that could be application setup files from the "Last Download Location".

They are just temp files. If you run the registry cleaner portion make sure you save the items to be deleted to a folder in case you need to restore them.

Referring to both answers: CCleaner does not have an uninstall function. It only has a cleaner function = cleans temporary et.al. files that are connected to the programs.

Feel secure!
