OK I'm sure there's a simple answer to this, but I can't find it.

When I delete icons on my own desktop, it also takes them off the other users profiles. I have an administrator account. It takes them off the other administrator account as well as the other standard user profiles.

Can anyone tell me how to change this? We each want our own stuff on our own desktops.

    Thanks

When you install most programs they also put an icon in the all users folder, so they appear in all of the user accounts.

More and more program installs are asking to install the program for this user only or for all users.
