Clearing/Disabling recent history

    I can't figure out how to clear or disable the recent history list for specific programs. I understand how to handle the "Recent Items" list, but many applications (excel, image viewers, etc) also show a list of recent documents they've opened. How can I either disable or clear these lists? Thanks.

    2003, although office isn't the only program I'm concerned about.

    Perhaps, maybe your talking about the new "Jump Lists" feature try setting it to 0 (zero) and see if that helps. See attachment

    Glad that worked and thanks for posting back and letting us know. Sometimes we can only guess at what a paricular member is actually seeing and trying to explain.
