Windows Vista Command Prompt

Hi,
I am new to this forum.
I have one question when i am working with cmd command.
My laptop is running on Vista Ultimate 64 bit.
When i am running a batch file in cmd prompt, it is asking "press any key to continue". When i pressed any key, the command prompt window is disappearing and not running the batch file.

What might be the problem and how can i run the batch file without command prompt window disappearing.
