I have just discovered that in what ever program I select by right clicking and choosing Properties/compatibility The compatibility settings are greyed out.
    Any help appreciated

it is 0k now thanks, on trying again I find that generally it is ok but I am trying a new mouse, roller mouse pro2 and the config utility hasn the compatibility greyed out. I will get on to the manufacturer about it.

I am having trouble using my hands I have carpel tunnel syndrome in both. I have had surgery in my right hand but so far no improvement at all. difficult typing too. Maybe I wil try the voice control. It works ok but feel a bit of a dick sitting here shouting at the PC
