What is a context menu and can I change it?

A context menu is a graphic menu used to access shortcuts or options. Some examples would be the menu that pops up when you right click on a file, the desktop, or taskbar. Editing them will differ from what you are clicking on. In some cases you may not be able to edit since they are built into a given application.
