My system has been crashing periodically with the crash dump blue screen. I have up loaded my crash dump file from window\minidump.

I don't know the cause and wanted to get thoughts on this problem.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hi,
this can bugcheck can be caused by a number of issues ranging from an out of date Bios, HDD full or little space, hardware issue(usually gpu or RAM) and/or drivers. The probable cause you can see relates to the graphics and it could be that the GPU driver needs updating. Looking through the dump file I noticed that both drivers and Bios are well out of date and you might simply need to update either one of these.

BiosVersion = P1.20
BiosReleaseDate = 04/18/2012

Current Bios version has reached version 2.00 and a number of updates relate to graphics and improved compatibility. Although every care is taken to ensure this is your actual support page you must still double check to ensure your downloading the correct file for your motherboard.

Your Anti-Virus app is also well known for causing issues. If the bsod continues remove Norton to test using their removal tool:
https://support.norton.com/sp/en/uk/home/current/solutions/kb20080710133834EN_EndUserProfile_en_us

Use MSE as a replacement as it's very stable (you can always re-install Norton later):
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows/security-essentials-download

If after making the above changes you still get the bsod then you need to test your RAM.
Windows does have it's own memory testing app but it can often miss errors and the best app for the job is Memtest86. The latest version of which can be found here:
http://www.memtest.org/

To run Memtest86 you need to either burn a copy of it to disk or use a USB stick. If you look down the page you'll eventually find the latest version and it's associated downloads. If your burning to disk choose the pre-compiled iso zip. If your using a USB method then the corresponding download is the auto installer for a USB stick.
Once you have Memtest86 on the media you selected you'll then need to enter your bios and change the boot order so that the machine will boot from either the disk or stick you have Memtest86 on.
Run the test for at least 12hrs if possible unless it becomes clear that there is a issue. If there is a problem with the RAM you'll see the errors pop up in red so you can't miss them.

Post any new dump files.

Thank you for your help, I have updated the Bios and Video drive and that seems to have helped. I appreciate the info and help with this problem.
