All right don't flame me for my ignorance here.

I am currently dual booting. I have access to my vista drive through windows seven. I am noticing that they are set up very similar in terms of the files. I am wondering if it's possible to replace some of the vista files with files from windows seven in terms of the task bar and start menu, and if you can, what those files would be. To try and replace the vista task bar and start menu with windows seven version.

    Crazy right.

    No,

It would be impossible to tell all the files are related to the Start Menu.

One I know Of is the Shell32.dll file, but you will certainly hose your Vista system and it will not start.

Agreed. ;) It's not necessarily a crazy question.. just a very improbable theory.. though very creative.. ;)
