I want to move my custom.dic (dictionary) from my XP computer to my new Windows 7 computer. Would someone tell me where the custom.dic should be installed? I did a search for it in my Windows 7 after adding a few words but was unable to find the path. Thanks!

Yes it is in C:\Users\(user name)\Roaming\Microsoft\Uproof, it may be a hidden file

The file path for the custom dictionary in Windows 7 and which is used by the Spell Check feature in MS Word in Office Home and Student 2007 and other programs is as follows:

    C:Users/Owner/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/UProof/Custom
