I am in desperate need of help! I have a month old Toshiba Portege that worked fine for only a couple of days. It is running on Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
I can trigger a BSOD by clicking the Eject button in dbpoweramp, or by setting it to automatically eject after completion. This happens every time without fail. I also have intermittent issues by manually pushing the eject button on the drive, usually it works, sometimes it doesn't open. It never crashes though.
I have taken the computer back to Best Buy and at first they said it was "infected" 4 days later it was "fixed." As soon as I brought it home I realized that the issue was not resolved at all. I took it back and they did a "clean install" but the exact problem has persisted.
I have attached some files that should help. I ran the verifier.exe and clicked "eject" to cause the BSOD but my computer did not recover normally this time. It hung for many minutes on the black start screen with the windows logo until i pulled the battery. Then it booted up just fine. However, I can't seem to be able to move the new .dmp file to a new folder and zip it up.
I have been dealing with this for over 3 weeks now and nothing is getting fixed. I hope someone can help me quickly. If I need to try something specific or include more info please let me know.
