Win 7 64 bit. I suddenly a large number of DefaultAppPool and DefaultAppPool.IIAppPool folders have appeared in my User folder. Where did these come from? Can I delete them?

Are you running any programs which rely on IIS (Windows built in Web Server), or messing around with websites hosted locally?

Nope. That is I'm not aware of any programs that rely on IIS. I havent loaded any new programs in quite some time. I'm not messing around with locally hosted websites.
