A pilot called "Direct Connect" Like Outlook.... is destined to become a feature on the Windows 7 Server. Anywhere you connect to the internal exchange server from outside the corporate network without VPN connection but through RPC_Over HTTP'S. Direct Connect uses IPv6 and IPSec to build a tunnel from outside the corporate network to any resource that needs to access internal network (file shares, LOB Applications) This pilot will end up as a feature in the server edition of Windows 7.
