before i start can i mention that i have very little knowledge of advanced computer stuff so dont talk in technical terms and stuff cause i probably wont understand :)

so i installed windows 7 (clean install) a few weeks ago and by accident installed it on my media disk so i still have vista on my other disk and i still need to use this disk for stuff so what would be the easiest way to get rid of the windows files and stuff on the vista drive, preferably without moving the other files i have on that disk at the moment. i'm guessing the only solution would be to format the disk, so if it is how would i do that?

    thanks :)

If you format your Vista partition, your 7 won't boot as the bootmgr will be missing. You'll need to repair install 7 from your dvd.
