I have W7 installed on my 'C' drive and I have a 'D' partition that I would like use for Vista. Can I just install Vista and point to the 'D' partition? Do I need to install Vista first?

Vista & Win7

You HAVE to install Vista first, then Win7.

Upon booting, you will have dual-boot to choose from.

Use EasyBCD (free program) to edit both wording , sequence & time. It is far better and user-friendly than Microsoft's BCDEDIT.
