Windows 7 DVD Driver not working with Windows 7

After loading Windows 7, my DVD driver no longer works. In the device manager the device status says "the software for this device has been blocked from starting because it is known to have a problem with Windows. Code 48"

I have an Acer Aspire
The DVD drive came with the computer - it is a HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GSA-H21n

I had no problems with this drive using Vista.

Any help you can provide would be appreciated

I have exactly the same problem..
Checked Acer's website, checked LG's website..
Have not found a new driver for Windows 7.

Please help!!!

I used this article from Microsoft and removed the registries.
That resolved the problem for Windows 7 even though it's written for Vista:
The CD drive or the DVD drive does not work as expected on a computer that you upgraded to Windows Vista
