Windows 7 DVD Region

Is anyone else getting this error?

Link Removed due to 404 Error

After I upgraded and inserted a DVD for the first time it popped up a window saying that the dvd was region 1 and that I had to set a region. I set it to region 1 and now I get this error every time I insert any DVD. I tried to change it but it says I have 0 changes left. The error itself does not make any sense as I am set to region 1.

This doesn't appear to be a Windows 7 problem. Maybe the hardware forum would have an idea, or go to the site below. All I can remember is you will probably have to do something with the drive's firmware.
